AMLIN BERMUDA UNDERWRITER APPOINTMENT

Amlin Bermuda Ltd., Amlin’s wholly-owned reinsurance business, has appointed Richard Neame as Class Underwriter – Specialty Lines focusing on Proportional and Special Risks, reporting to Underwriting Director, Rob Wyatt.
Richard joins from XL Re Bermuda, where he was Vice President of the Special Risks division. During his ten years with XL Re Bermuda, Richard developed expertise across multiple business lines, analysing and pricing various reinsurance structures, but with a particular focus on larger proportional contracts.
A graduate with a Cranfield University MBA and ACII qualification, Richard was based in London prior to 1997, initially with brokers CT Bowring Reinsurance and Greig Fester. He also spent one year as Corporate Development Manager of Lloyd’s managing agency, Venton Holdings Limited.
