Rob Wyatt
Underwriting Director

Rob has worked in the Lloyd’s market since 1982. He began
his career at Guy Carpenter as a North American Treaty Broker
and spent 15 months on secondment in San Francisco with the
Fireman’s Fund in 1987/8. Rob joined the Hardy organisation
in 1989 before joining Harvey Bowring & Others Syndicate
362 in 1992 as an assistant underwriter to Richard Keeling.
In 1996 he moved to Bermuda, with Terra Nova, as Senior Vice
President of Underwriting before returning to Harvey Bowring
and Amlin in 2000 as an international catastrophe underwriter.
After the World Trade Center disaster, Rob was appointed the
leading class underwriter for Amlin’s direct and facultative
property account. He transferred to Amlin Bermuda in April 2008.
He was appointed Underwriting Director in August 2008.

Alun Thomas
Underwriter

Alun joined Amlin Bermuda in 2007 from Aon Limited, where he
was a Director of North American Reinsurance in the Property
Division. During his four years with this division, he retained
responsibility for the Canadian Accident and Health account,
continuing client relationships he had forged during his previous
two year role within Aon. Having graduated with a BA Hons in
Social Sciences in 1995, Alun began his insurance career as
Assistant Underwriter on Colin Owen’s Lloyd’s Syndicate
1206, gaining full underwriting authority in 1998. He then spent
two years as Underwriter of the Accident & Health account
at the Independent Insurance Company, London. |

Lindsay Watson
Underwriter
Lindsay Watson is a member of the Catastrophe International & Risk XL team. Lindsay joined Amlin Bermuda in 2011. She previously worked at Guy Carpenter, most recently in their London office focusing on North American Property as well as Worldwide/International Retrocessional business. She obtained her ARe in 2006 and completed Marsh's Graduate Training program in 2003 as well as Guy Carpenter's Reinsurance Fundamentals training in 2002. She started her career with Guy Carpenter US placing Property and Casualty business as well as International Retrocessional accounts. Lindsay has obtained a working background in AIR and RMS including attending RMS international seminars. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2002.
